Large Capacity Stirmantle

Glas-Col® stirmantle has the power to mix volumes as large as 72 liter with a magnetic stir bar, while heating the solution with the efficiency of Glas-Col's TM aluminum housed mantle. The 1/50 hp DC motor, and powerful magnet, enable the stir bar to efficiently mix large volumes in a spherical flask, without introducing a metal blade, and possible contaminates, to the solution. DC filtering allows the motor to run cooler, and promotes longer life. The variable speed control offers total control of the mixing process. These units are ideal for continuous distillations. Each unit comes with a stir control, one stir bar, and a StirMantle. The mantle comes with 4" feet for proper bench clearance and air flow. 4' detachable stir cord. Speed range: 100-1850rpm.
